A lot of small companies don't give the time of day to retail investors.

I've spoken to a few company directors here and there, and they say they favour institutional money as it stablises the register and makes the share price less volatile, and the process is quicker, but we all know it's because it's cheaper for them to raise through institutions, and they want to help out their friends.

I think the ASX/ASIC should make it compulsory that all shareholders should be treated equally and insto's should get no preferential treatment over retail holders, but that is never going to happen.

As far as Hartley's alleged manipulation, this sort of thing goes on every day of the week. Nothing we can do to stop it. It's just a fact of life.
