Will be over the moon if I get a 100 shares. Small token I know but well worth the stress this stock has put me through in past few months.
Before we get carried away with ourselves, need to remember that this rally from 11/12 is based on the expectation that yields will go up. They have in fact gone up and the share price has more than reflected it. Also no major disasters so far this year.
I think until the next set of results come in, share price is probably appropriate for now. On two occasions management have under-delivered on expectations so some discounting of management's targets is appropriate. If results match or exceed expectations, I don't see why this cannot reach $18 (don't read Morningstar research too much; they have been ultra-bulls on QBE since it was 22 bucks and more). If European debt problems resurface or US economy slows down increasing chances of further money printing, this will go down again.
This took a bit of a tumble from 14.40s to 13.80s when Ben said a continuation of the accommodative interest rate policy was still appropriate, and people moved back into Treasuries cutting yields.
