Misty: My boy and his partner do: they will work any day anytime they have to just to live: my boy at the ripe old age of early forties has had 4 heart attacks, double organ transplant, other big ops just to survive and could at one time been legally classed as blind: He had to pay out of his own savings to get his eyes operated on, (eight grand) after he got well enough he went and undertook and paid for extra training to gain employment, knowing he would have a battle, he has paid out well over 5 grand now for the required tickets, alongside of dole bludgers, ex prisoners and single parents who all get free training, he can't get sickness benefits, unemployment benefits etc as is classed as not being in the category of 'a penniless bludger' (actually fails the asset test as all they have done is work and save and do not have all the mod cons, i.e. plasma's, Ipads, flashy cars etc etc)he cannot get onto any govt work programs or job finding organisations as he is classed as 'health/compensation' risk (is on massive doses of immuno suppressive meds) Went for interview the other day, was upfront with interviewer and listed all above probs, but emfatically stated he was here to work, and if could not do the job to employers standard would immediately leave, no probs. Interviewer impressed: sent his for medical: which he passed with flying colours as he does not smoke, drink, eat junk food, etc and exercises daily, interviewer then rang to say : sorry mate, I was gretly impressed by you, however I AM NOT ALLOWED TO EMPLOY YOU: unfortunately a union member who has done work here in the past got the job; Good on the labor lead unions: good on Mr Gary Grey, Member for Swan whom I have spoken to many times: his answer to my questions???? sorry we cannot do anything for him as he 'falls between this governments cracks' I said hang on here HE JUST WANTS TO WORK: Mr Grey, Julia, and anyone in the labor party, especially you Mr Grey, If I can hurt your campaign in any way to get you and this govt out at the next election I CAN PROMISE YOU I WILL DO SO.. So Misty, yes there are a lot of people who work on Sundays, just to eat and not rely on welfare handouts....
