this is fact, from the economist, not a gold bug site as you always criticise them. the drop in house prices is the slow erosion of asset value and a clear sign that all is not well in the land of the free. as for the DOW increasing.. well, yeah it did in 2007 as well didnt it, and the same things that drove it higher there before teh subprime collpase are being done again, and the money thats been pumped n by the fed has to go somewhere. did you ever learn any fundamentals about macro economics, or do you just trust your gut instinct as you fly around the world in full planes and walk down main streets in major US cities......... if so, get a wider world view, and if you cant stomach a trip to a broken Europe to see the real suffering that this ponzi scheme has wrought on the public, then get a buss from mainstreet USA and head downtown, to the less affluent areas, ask them how they are going on down ther, ask how their foreclosures are going and how the bull sh!t protections for the people suffering foreclosures are meeting up to their need, Its all smok and mirrors mate. there is NO US recovery its just a massive PUMP N DUMP by the powers that be.
