The drill ship ‘Stena Tay' returns to Mauritania after remaining docked during six weeks in the Port of The Palms. The Stena Tay, consigned by Hamilton and Hip, sets sail Tuesday 19 of July bound for Mauritania, after remaining almost six weeks docked in the
extension of the Dike Reign Sofía of the Port of Palms.
The drill ship, coming also of Mauritania, returns to this country of the African western coast to continue with the drillings in water of the Mauritanian seaboard.
For which it concerns to its dimensions, Stena Tay has 63,5 meters of sleeve, 123 of length, 33 of puntal and 6,80 meters of penetrated.
Being submitted to different repairs and provisioning are the main reasons of the stay of the platform of flag of Belize in The Palms. Aboard her, they travel a total of 90 crew members.
It is not the first time that Stena Tay docks in the bay grancanaria, since in 2003 visited the Port for the first time by space of a month.
