Will2,
Strictly my personal opinion below.
I have read most of the Hypothetical, uninformed, meaningless, idle, ramping, downramping, frivolous, mischievous and misleading chatter over the last week or so.Sick of reading trash ..really.
I am absolutley stunned and gobsmacked by the divergence of pre concieved and ill informed notions formed with regard to the reality of the Central Petroleum internal affairs.
It's nothing short of amazing!
I take my hat of to you Will2... you have almost got it worked out ..but that's my opinion.
As a sleuth you would appreciate this would go down in the Annuls of some of best classic "Who Done Its" .. Is your name "Hercule Poirot".Your Jigsaw is almost complete ..but that is my assessment. Poirot, keep digging.
I take my hat off to CB et al .. no guts,no glory .. not that they wanted the latter...however it may have enabled a trajectory towards shareholder value in coal.
Where it could be problematic for the rebels is that it may not enable a complete solution ,now that we understand via the media that entities associated with Clive Palmer are involved. What happened with Gina Rhinehart?
I must say that from an outsiders (ex non disgruntled shareholder)point of view is that you must all bear in mind a number CTP orientated things and here they are:
1 : JH started the company and invited/employed Askin (so I am led to believe) onto the employ of CTP
2 : JH mortgaged himself to the hilt to keep the company afloat on a number of occasions since inception, drove buses to pay for tenement upkeep/accumulation,pay for food, living expenses etc,etc,..Did anyone else? Did you..all you shareholders out there?..No! of course not.
3: JH is the visionary that has enabled all and sundry involved with CTP to benefit from the long term accumulation of acreage and hiring the backbone of CTP GEO knowledge ...what have the others done?
4: JH hired Dalton
5: JH wanted to keep the drill rig onsite @ surprise for another hole ..who opposed it?
6: CTP have one of the most competent and well organised back room staff in the game .. Greg Ambrose, take a bow as well as JH. Front end is Dalton..State of art on site operator..lots of others. as well
7: The O&G business is a very expensive business to be in,onshore or offshore in particular ..especially when are restrained to 2D seismics in a massive area...GA take a bow..Dalton,you kicked ass.JH, you made it happen..the bus may have had a flat tyre along the way.
8. What most CTP holders do not appreciate is that there is an enviable and highly qualified and sought after human resources unit in the "Backroom" at your company headquarters in Perth. This level of expertise is unique in the O&G sector at a junior level .. compare to the likes of BKP/EGO and a multitude of others. You really have no idea of how good the backroom is.
9. You have hit oil ..saleable and an immediate cashflow..it could have been more ..if it pays some salaries it's a good thing whilst in extended production tests...for obvious company benefit.
10. Why is JH the scapegoat??
11. Ask Dalton how many things go wrong on a drill site..he knows and do not blame JH for other prbolems that occured last year with Century...
12. JH is employed by the board ..he does not employ the board..think about it.The board make decisions on a quorum of votes.
13. JH is not a despot
14. DH is not a board lackey
15. Greg Ambrose is an amazing Geo
16. Coal and Iron ore Large scale loader drivers are paid
$ 180-350K per annum with 2 weeks on and two weeks on ..think about JH who has wotked his ring of over the last decade putting up with all sorts of Faeces from various creditors/agitated shareholder...et al. Why would you do it??? He's committed!
17. Whats CP going to do ? park his investment like he has done with MEO.Will he actually want to pump some real dosh into the advancement of CTP.
18. Will CB/Simon et al win the CTP championship playoff.
Semi finals next week.
19. Who's the zoo keeper at CTP zoo ATM ????
20. It is costing CTP international investor market cred with all the shennanigans going on at the moment..but that's my view.
21. My view is that JH was very acommodating towards doing favourable JV deals without the potential investor being scared off by onerous and impossible hurdles preventing a deal... but that's my view.
22. Uncertainty instills lack of confidence ..that's your danger shareholders.
Enough from me
Food for thought
I cannot hold shares in CTP at this point in time...so my sentiment must be No Position.
The sooner certainty prevails the better it will be for all concerned.
Cheers
HR
Strictly my opinion above ..no advice given or intended ..it's your call and it's your vote. It's not my money at stake ..but it could have been...maybe it still will be...let's see what happens.
