Based on allocation under the previous SPP and the expected uptake I expected to receive a fair few more shares.

With an SPP you are never quite sure of how the shares will be allocated (% of holding, % of holding weighted by application amount, weighted by application amount only, etc).

What is annoying is that our money will be held indefinitely (interest free) and finally a miserly issue of shares will be allocated. If we had been told from the outset that we'd get less than 10% I guarantee most of us wouldnt have applied.

Also I do know what investing is. Its when mums and dads visit their broker for advice and buy and hold a share for 20 years because of 20 year old advice. (sarcasm). You can invest all you like but I'll trade. Hopefully it works out for the best for both of us.
