Is the party over? I must have been in the kitchen and missed it. I reckon if you're holding good stocks that have gone nowhere in the last six to twelve months, why sell them now? Lock in or preserve your 50 percent CGT discount (assuming you qualify) and wait for better days.
Of course, this assumes you haven't bought your shares with a margin or some other type of loan that"'s costing you money whilst you wait.
