Moo - Lynas sought engagement many times with the Opposition groups. When they utterly refuse to be fair and reasonable and deliberately spread lies and deceit how can you possibly try to sort issues out diplomatically? What has become utterly clear to me throughout these events is that the Malaysian Opposition parties lack any degree of integrity and do not deserve to, and lack any competency to, govern Malaysia. If they were ever successful in their current incarnation, there would be massive capital flight from Malaysia. I was shocked and dismayed that a politician with the international profile of Anwar was prepared to tie his colours to their mast. It is the most short-sighted act of political lowlifeness and bastardry I have seen. To my mind, he has irrevocably tarnished his reputation. Luckily, it appears to me that the majority of Malaysians feel the same way. People who deliberately spread lies and deceit and who do not listen to reason, are not leaders or leaders in waiting. They are simply desperate and greedy wannabes.
