I dont mind the red truck and the farmer, after all not all farmers look after sheep - this is a conversation between DLotto and Joe C - their value is up to YOU just like any company SP.

The well has a flare pipe set up. It is not flaring yet though. The guy said that it is about half way to the point where we can really tell anything. There is no oil or gas coming out yet. He said it isn't time to be discouraged. They are letting it pump by itself and the formation pressure is only 5 psi, so he said it would be about 8 more days before the well turns over and they can tell something.
On the Devon side. One of their wells is doing 75 bopd and the other is doing 10. They are still projecting wells going in the 2-300 bopd range though. They are planning on drilling 6 more this summer. They are not discouraged yet. They have said they have to do some experimenting with their completions to make the wells produce more.

good info. 5 psi formation pressure sounds like Defender. It must NOT getting out of the salt layers, I wonder if the DVN/GMXR wells further south in Doty Hills and N. Mustang are just get into the salt edge production zones.
Further south, Chugwater area (GMXR) and Silo fields are right in the salt edge zone, not as rich as Wattenburg but very decent.
I hope the northern extension of the salt edge zone reaches north Goshen. The new DVN/GMXR wells can tell us more.
CHK may already defined this extension but said nothing.

The main thing I took out the conversation was the guy said it is not time to get discouraged yet for our well. He said it will take a little more time. He also said that those Devon numbers aren't necessarily bad because it shows that there is oil here and the companies still consider this area to be in the very earliest stages. They know that they still have a ways to go to figure something out, but that there is something here to work with.
He mentioned that it is good Noble will be drilling soon because they throw the most money of anybody at their wells. He said if it is a matter of money to figure out this area Noble will spend it.
