Bonds and cash are what most people would regard as normal investments, so I'm guessing you're way, way overexposed to pm dan, a very dangerous strategy indeed.
Bonds and cash have thrashed pm's and gold equities for quite some time.
Cash, since Sept last year maybe 2%.
Bonds " " " " " 3% (depends on maturity and type of course).
Gold since Sept last year -16%.
XGD since Sept last year. -26%
Cash and bonds not so bad after all.
