People who ask rhetorical questions such as:
"Do most Australians need (as opposed to want) and are prepared to pay for the real cost of a "super highway" to their door or would a "super highway" to a node(s) in the street or area be sufficient ?"
I want to ask them this question:
Why do governments (state and federal) have to build all those roads in rural country areas when most of the times they are not travelled on by the majority of Australians who live in the cities ? Why waste all those money ? Why should Australians who live in the city be paying for those roads which benefit only a minority of Australians ?
