Weekly Technical Analysis Prospects - Week Starting 9th April 2012, (No. 7)

Here’s this week’s TA List. I have taken the liberty of adding some info where it was unclear or fixing typos where I came across them. Hope no one minds. I have reduced the list to 10 or so items again. All market caps are undiluted and were correct at time of posting. Note: Max time for any entry on list will be 4 weeks after which time it will be removed).

Important Note: Remember just because it appears on the list does not necessarily mean it will rise in price... it may actually fall or do nothing. So it is critical that research it first and make your own mind up to invest or not. I suggest you run a stop-loss at all times when trading/investing. How tight your stops are depends on your threshold to risk and financial pain. Lastly I take no responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided by Spotters as I do not have the time to research all the facts that have been provided. Best of Luck.!

QPN - (Oil/Gas explorer Indonesia) Has recently spiked after being range bound for a prolonged period of time. Now it has retraced from the spike and found strong support on top of this historic range. So support has entered and we have retested the high in recent days. In my opinion it will bounce between 0.006 and 0.007 before eventually breaking to the upside.
    (Market Cap:$14.2 m)

THR - (Tungsten/ Molybdenum /Gold ) Spiked about three weeks ago and has consolidated below the spike. Has threatened to break out to a new high several times. In my opinion I think it is going to break out this week.
    (Market Cap:$6.9m)
    Spotted By: Johnnycrash (Position Held)

CBS -(Magnetite Brazil) Has recently had a ascending triangle formation (over 3 months) which has broken to the upside. So it has sprinted off its lows and presents a relatively safe entry point in my opinion. Wait for retrace from spike before entering on support.
    (Market Cap:$23.8m)
    Spotted By: 3500 (Position Held)

POZ - (Phosphate NT Australia) Spiked recently and has had a quick retrace and strong bounce back up. Wait for retrace to complete and for further support to be shown.
    Market Cap:$11m)
    Spotted By: 3500 (Position Held)

AZS - Spike and small retrace entry on break to new short term high. So it has sprinted off its lows and presents a relatively safe entry point in my opinion.
    (Market Cap:$15.7m)
    Spotted By: 3500 (Position Held)

JIN - (Internet Lotteries) Exponential uptrend on increasing volume. Exponential uptrend rises are usually followed by sharp falls so a very tight trailing stop is the order of the day here in my opinion. Best entry IMO would possibly be on a small retrace just after support re-enters.
    (Market Cap:$69m)
Spotted By: Freehold (No Position Held)

PLA - (Platinum) Recent strong rally appears to have temporarily exhausted the bulls and we now have a multi day retrace on decreasing volume showing that the sellers may now be running out of steam also. Entry on show of support and again on break to new high.
    Market Cap:$68m)
Spotted By: Freehold (No Position Held)

VRE - (Coal Kyrgyzstan on Chinese eastern border) Has retraced from recent spike with decreasing volume and “appears” to have exhausted the sellers. Wait for indication of stronger support before entry IMO. Fall below 0.025c may indicate the retrace is not over in which case wait for support to enter again. (Market Cap:$25.8m)
Spotted By: Freehold (No Position Held)

IDC - (Gold in Cambodia) Has rallied and strongly on increased volume has retraced and support appears to be entering. Entry on break above 18.5c and again on break to new short term high.
    Market Cap:$90m)
Spotted By: Freehold (No Position Held)
