Essentially the charter isn't worth the paper it's written on, as are most company motherhood, vision statements. They are written soley to comply with a weak legal company framework that cannot, and usually is not, enforceable by our weak regulative authorities. Australia's system is as corrupt as China's the only differenece here is we are in self denial, and have self serving politicians who play the same game and no-one will change a system that is a benefit to the corrupt and administered by the corrupt!
