Not much you can do about it Ravi. Whether you agree with it or not, CB and assorted SH holding over 10% of issued shares are perfectly entitled to do whatever they see fit to do to protect their investment, within the limits of Corporation laws, as are you. Whether their interests and yours coincide or are opposed is incidental.

I suppose it is entirely up to each of us whether we support, oppose or sit on the fence at this juncture. Apparently the group of SH in the 249D agreed with him, which is more than sufficient to call for an EGM.

He is not deciding. If he has the numbers and can force an EGM, then we all get to decide via a vote. Bear in mind this is not CB calling for a spill on his own, it is a group of SH who hold 10% of issued shares between them according to CB's posts and the "defective" 249D. There are a number of outcomes that could emanate from the EGM, resulting in some, all or none of the board being sacked, and some, all or none of the proposed replacements being accepted by the SH that choose to exercise their rights.
