Yes, it was a pleasant rise in the share price - 4th successive rise and on good turnover. But my eye was caught by the rather sharp rise in the option price. Up 10% (only 2.5% for the shares) for the day and a further 5% bid at 6.9c. I couldn't help wondering if speculators haven't finally picked up the scent. This would appear, on the surface, to be a speculator's paradise with Nathan Tinkler sitting in the top 10 on the share register, just over 40m shares having been issued to the public, 6 1/4m options in the very loose hands of the "proffessional and sophisticated" investors of Patterson's, and a proven technology on the cusp of commercialisation, it is hard to imagine what more they could want to get started in AEB.
