gold sector not currently subject to the MMrt tax, i say currently becasue Swannnnny is going to do everything to meet a surplus and his revenues are going fast, best place to get revenue would be to tax all mining ,,not just iron ore,,probably more equitable and they could lower the current rate...Greens are also unhappy...but currently no MMRT tax applicable,,,

Carbon tax is applicable,,,absolutley no detail or idea how this will affect NCM,,thier own comment were it would impact NET Profit by 3Pc but in the absence of any detail I reckon they pull it out of their ....

There is a new mining tax in indo however of 25PC of anything exported,,that might have an affect on some miners, saw they were talking of introducing it last week but unsure if legistlated,,,that is on top of their planned new rules for diverstment
