Sedco's claim is for $67,173,860. Pls refer NXS's 2011 Annual Report, Contingent Liabilities & Assets, Section 34, page 91, Litigation.
The figure is high, bcoz Sedco r claiming additional liability from NXS, as they had to cancel another contract with Oilex in the Timor Sea at the time (refer section 34, page 92, NXS 2010 ARep).
Bit of a soap opera, as Nexus & Oilex had originally signed the Legend to drill back to back wells in Sep'08.
OEX terminated the contract on 5th June '09 & signed up the Songa Mercur rig for 2 wells Lore-1 & Lolotoe-1 (refer Oilex's ASX release below).
