this is one of the most realistic posts I have read lately.
You are right in every aspect, including the possibility that the Chinese may walk away.Apart from all the contractual requirements that ICN may or may not be able to fulfill, the Chinese Govt wont allow them to buy Australian LNG if they can get it for half price or less from the US, or indeed from their own soon-to-be-exploited shale gas .I imagine they have many legal "get out" clauses.The ones we know about involve proving up reserves and making first delivery of LNG, both of which ICN are woefully behind on.
