Just wondering why the company didn't take the opportunity to come out and make a definitive statement refuting all the allegations that appeared in the smh etc.
So the company is getting legal advice....maybe mr Elliott also owns a law firm to add to all the related party transactions.
Re: drp speculating on hedge fund activity....the short interest in this stock is 26m shares...it has been around this level for months and has not increased at all during the last 3 weeks, so I think we can rule out a hedge fund campaign. Short interest at 1.5% of outstanding shares is pretty low in comparison to other stocks in the asx200. All figures from bloomberg
