australia is a lucky country but that is not a good excuse for australians to act stupid and spread that luck around too thin.so-called refugees arrived in leaky boats after flying probably first/business class for some to their boarding points in indonesia and elsewhere;time to be street smart and do not let these appearances tug at your heartstrings.

malaysia ,singapore and of course indonesia openly practises a policy of assisting these same refugees who subsequently arrive at our shores , in the first instance,by seeing to their food and water needs; then helping them with their navigation with a compass bearing for one of our northen shores.

refugees in these numbers and of these nature are full of undesirable elements who will not be conducive to the social fabric of this country and we should not be apologetic about setting the conditions for them to qualify for entry. to the extent that those who might have material or other benefits to take up the 'refugee' cause i hope they keep a proper balance of the big picture factors.
