Always possible poop - but without identifying realistic circumstances that can bring that about, your comment is more just wishful thinking. The reality for the EIS and Safety Study is that, while we are now 15 months into the processes, the schedules have not yet been shortened (and, in fact, have beeb lengthened by a couple of months - in November 2011).

As far as the Hearing process is concerned, the timetable is based on NRC's model timelines for Hearings. While it could be shortened, the model is based on the most likely outcome.
