The initial estimate by the first people to do sampling, drilling and trenching in the area of Mbalam, said around 800Mt of high grade iron ore.A lot of drilling around Mbalam still has to be done. The Congo deposits around Nabeba I believe will be as much,if not more. The out cropping hills around Nabeba look likely to add a fair bit of High Grade and a lot of Itabirite. All of the strikes/caps of High Grade will have Itabirite below them in my opinion. These are proving to be very deep deposits of Itabirite. The very long strike areas running from South/East of Metzimevin and going into The Congo have a lot of Itabirite as well as some High Grade. There are around 22+kl's in this area of strike length. It will take, maybe five more years of drilling around Mbalam and Nabeba to come to a total resource figure. Then there is also the other tenement South and East of Nabeba to drill.
I have posted before my opinion on the resource figures I believe will be in place. Upwards of 30/40 billion tonnes of High Grade and Itabirite would not surprise me,mainly Itabirite.
My opinion.Only just found a very small portion of the iron ore in these tenements.
