We are at war, and the sooner we wake up to it, the better we will feel over such events and the many many atrocious events to follow. Many thousands of innocent Iraqis have been killed during the currrent Iraq War. This is the reality.
Pre-emptive slayings of civilians have occured for years within Iraq during shock and awe etc.
We are at war - but given the political sensitivilty and cultural dissemination - we have not been alerted to this in so many words.
This could almost be an armegedon style of war. No-one will win. It will breed generations of jihad bombers and it will never end. No solution.
