If anyone wants me to live the type of life someone lives in some little third world country to keep some academic greenie happy, think again
Australia is a very industrialized country with a very mobile population so all this drivel about per capita pollution is just playing with data and statistics.
Australia as a country produces a insignificant amount of the total of all of the worlds pollution so why should we have to pay through the nose to pacify some ratbag who wants to save the planet with other peoples money.
To be effective we need to ban all our exports of,Coal, uranium, oil, gas, live animals, and probably all our raw mineral products as well because they are all causing pollution in some country. Is it not about time that sensible people woke up to this absolute rubbish get back to looking after our environment in a sensible manner
.
We are still cutting down too much timber, we are still dumping too much sewage and rubbish in the sea, there are many things we can do to conserve without the current crop of hair brained schemes promoted by equally hair brained parasites.
