I agree with your arguments on LNG plants Fuzzie, but Beach is not about to build one. The sunk cost is that of the companies currently building the plants.
My point was more about the cost of producing shale gas. If they are prepared to invest the billions required to build an LNG plant in the US, then they must feel that the current low gas prices are sustainable. Which implies that they think low shale gas production prices are sustainable.
If Beach can produce at similar prices, and the infrastructure is in place for processing and piping it, then why can't shale compete with the likes of CSG?
