The question i ask is, "why would china mobile sign a deal with a small $30m australian company that may not be around next week/next month/next year?"

The way i look at it is that as sma rolls out more of these projects in china with known and respected businesses, they are building reputation and good will...demonstrating to china mobile that they are capable and are going to be around for a time to come.

My gut feeling is that china mobile are hanging around. They could lead sma on for years if they wanted, and sma would not walk away...who would, from a monster money machine like china mobile? But with sma's recent deals in china, i think china mobile will lock in soon. Personal hunch that i have put my money, not without its risks.
