now folks..back on track if you please..are you seriously blaming oz pollies for o/sold beach sp?...clearly that's resulting from the repeated shorting carried out by boa and that credit suisse and assorted shorters who are hanging on to their coat tails....at this stage beach sp doesn't appear to have any value considered for their shale gas potential...possibly undervalues even existing oil and gas production...a change in oz government won't change that...a prohibition of any short sales by regulating authorities would do the trick...wishful thinking i suppose but wouldn't it magically stabilize sp...and not only beach sp..if one could only sell shares that one already owns and has payed for...so blame the financial crims and not them pollies on a string, shall we?! cheers, anywhichway, shorting can't go on forever..have to be covered at some stage..not if but when...currently market's still in downtrend so dare not hope for some sustained covering yet...wait and see alas is all us holders can do!?
