There's always a chance that the Italian government will do something drastic in an attempt to improve its finances - increase the royalty on hydrocarbon production, perhaps... On the other hand, they could also try to cut the red tape slowing down the hydrocarbon production approvals process.
I don't know how the ENI gas price rule will work if Italy leaves the euro and everything's suddenly in lira...
