Brookside Energy (BRK) has observed extensive oil shows and elevated gas readings at its Juanita Well in the Ardmore Basin, Oklahoma.

Drilling reached total depth of around 6350 feet, with oil and gas recorded at all ten potential reservoirs in the primary, secondary, and tertiary targets.

Managing Director David Prentice said it was “very pleasing” to have reached total depth in what is the first well in the company’s new area of interest, Bradbury.

Brookside said it is now preparing for wireline logging operations to acquire a full
suite of logs across the target zones.

Given the results from the mud logs, Mr Prentice said the company was “eagerly awaiting” the results from the wireline logging operations.

Subject to the results of the logging work, the company will begin operations to run and set production casing.

The company’s expanded Bradbury area of interest is in the Arbuckle Uplift of the Ardmore Basin, Oklahoma.

Shares in Brookside Energy last traded at 1.4 cents on January 20.
