Winsome Resources (WR1) has confirmed lithium mineralisation over a three-kilometre trend at its Adina East prospect in Canada.

The company has received fresh assay results from the prospect, which defined the presence of mineralisation 1.9 kilometres east of the Adina Main Zone.

New results from the program included 1.5 per cent lithium oxide over 12.2 metres from 63.3 metres and 1.77 per cent lithium oxide over six metres from 83.4 metres.

A high-resolution gravity survey also uncovered additional targets with the potential for spodumene-bearing pegmatite swarms.

“We have now extended the strike of lithium mineralisation at Adina to three kilometres and it remains open to both the east and west,” Winsome Managing Director Chris Evans said.

“As part of our expanded drilling program, we will continue to test the broader Adina project to determine the scale of mineralisation as well as the link between Adina East, Adina Main and the previous drilling undertaken at Adina by MetalsTech.”

The relationship between these mineralised zones will be tested in the company’s upcoming drilling program, with further results from the drilling campaign expected within the coming weeks.

A third drill rig is also being mobilised to test targets delineated in the gravity survey, as well as potential strike and depth extensions to the main pegmatite body.

Winsome Resources is down 6.78 per cent, trading at $1.65 at midday AEST.
