Mamba Exploration (ASX:M24) Chief Executive Officer resigns


  • Mamba Exploration’s (M24) Chief Executive Officer, Michael Dunbar, announces his resignation after 2.5 years at the company’s helm
  • During his time in the role, Mr Dunbar oversaw multiple mining projects within Western Australia
  • Mr Dunbar will remain on the board as a director and will continue fulfilling his duties as CEO until a replacement has been recruited
  • The board is now in the process of finding its next company leader
  • Mamba is down 7.06 per cent, trading at 7.9 cents at 12:50 pm AEST

After two and a half years at the company’s helm, Mamba Exploration’s (ASX:M24) Chief Executive Officer, Michael Dunbar, has announced his resignation to pursue other opportunities.

Upon his resignation, Mr Dunbar expressed his sentiments towards the progress made during his time at CEO.

“It has been enjoyable being able to put together a small but dedicated team and to pair them with a diverse portfolio of projects within Western Australia which has allowed us to actively explore year-round on our southern “summer projects” and our northern “winter projects” and to progress the projects over the last 2.5 years”.

While a replacement is yet to be appointed, Mr Dunbar has agreed to continue as CEO and director until a time mutually agreed with the board to allow for new recruitment.

M24 was down 7.06 per cent, trading at 7.9 cents a share at 12:50 pm AEST.
