Larvotto Resources (LRV) has outlined plans to commence a 3000-metre reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at its Eyre Project in Western Australia.

The program is designed to target multiple commodities across its Merivale, Mt Norcott and Dickie dyke prospects.

LRV Managing Director Ron Heeks said the company was “delighted” to begin drilling.

“We are delighted to be commencing the next phase of drilling across numerous exciting targets at the multi-commodity Eyre Project in WA,” he said.

“We have several reasons to be optimistic about what this program could potentially deliver.”

Previous geochemical soil sampling conducted at Eyre unveiled several expansive lithium anomalies. These anomalies were detected in an area that is known to contain pegmatite intrusions similar to those found directly north of Liontown Resources’ (LTR) Buldania lithium resource.

Larvotto’s identification of broad lithium anomalies in the area is a significant indication of the presence of lithium-rich pegmatites.

LRV shares were up 4 per cent, trading at 13 cents at 2:15 pm AEST.
