DroneShield (DRO) has announced its development of marketability to NATO-enlisted countries with the international security agency awarding four DroneShield products NATO stock numbers.

The company described this process as ultimately allowing for “off-the-shelf” purchases.

The four products involved are the RfPatrol Mk2 handheld portable drone sensor for use by on-foot soldiers; the DroneGun Mk3 ultra-light and DroneGun Mk4 models and two variants of a vehicle-based drone section system called DroneSentry-X.

NATO last awarded a stock number to DroneShield back in 2019 for its DroneGun Tactical model – which became among its best-selling items.

All 31 NATO militaries are now able to purchase the items on a ‘military catalogue’ basis, including the US Department of Defense.

All in all, this simplifies the procurement process, opening the door to potentially higher sales revenues for DroneShield in the years ahead.

Earlier this month, the company won a new $9.9 million contract from an unknown Five Eyes partner.

DroneShield shares were up 9.80 per cent, trading at 28 cents at 11:29 am AEST.
