Smart Parking (SPZ) has acquired German parking site management business ParkInnovation for $2 million.

Through this acquisition, SPZ adds 46 manually operated sites to the Smart Parking
estate.

“We are delighted to welcome the ParkInnovation business to the Smart Parking Group,” Smart Parking CEO Paul Gillespie said.

“ParkInnovation has built a well-respected company in recent years with an attractive portfolio of sites under management in Germany.

“ParkInnovation represents the next step in the Smart Parking growth strategy and reinforces our continued focus on expansion into new territories.”

The acquisition will see SPZ implement its proprietary technology across the acquired estate.

This move aligns with Smart Parking’s growth strategy and its commitment to expanding into new territories.

Shares in SPZ were up 2 per cent, trading at 25.5 cents at 3:27 pm AEST.
