- This drill hole struck the fraternal shoot at a 2.9 g/t gold equivalent across 26.5 metres from a 124 metre-depth
- Assays for another two drill holes remain pending and will go towards minting an MRE for SNG’s Auld Creek, as drilling remains ongoing
- The company has an exploration target of up to 130,000 ounces of gold and an MRE will be created once drilling is complete

Siren Gold (SNG) has struck thick intersections of gold downhole in the fourth drill hole at its Auld Creek prospect in New Zealand.
The latest drill results have confirmed a 26.5-metre thick intersection grading at 2.7 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, with a 2.9g/t gold equivalent from a 124-metre depth.
Within those sections, a higher-grade intersection of 17.5-metres was discovered, grading at 3.7g/t, and a higher-grade 8.5-metre pocket at 6.7g/t gold from 142 metres.
Assays for another two drill holes remain pending and these will go towards minting a maiden resource for SNG’s Auld Creek, as drilling remains ongoing.
“Siren was particularly excited about the type of mineralisation evident in the drill holes at Auld Creek and we are now very pleased to report that the latest assays confirm the presence of consistent high-grade gold across the entire Fraternal intercept,” SNG Executive Chairman Brian Rodan said.
“Drilling is continuing, with updated results to be provided to the market over the coming weeks.”
The company has an active exploration target of between 115,000 and 130,000 ounces of gold equivalent and notes the presence of high-grade antimony mineralisation.
Siren Gold shares were up 6.52 per cent, trading at 12.3 cents at 12:45 pm AEST.
