Battery Age Minerals (BM8) has appointed company CEO Gerard O’Donovan as Managing Director with immediate effect.

Mr O’Donovan holds a wealth of experience in the lithium industry and mine development. With more than 15 years of proven success, he has managed large-scale construction, mining development projects, and operations spanning various commodities, including lithium, copper, and iron ore.

His previous engagements include roles with companies such as Pilbara Minerals (PLS). As Project Manager, he led the successful development, commissioning, and ramp-up of the Pilgangoora lithium-tantalum stage one mine and processing facility.

“It is a pleasure to see Gerard transition to the role of Managing Director at Battery Age,” BM8 Chair Robert Martin said.

“Since joining the company in October last year he has been influential in overseeing the
progression of all three of our projects, particularly the Falcon Lake lithium project in
Canada.

“He has built an experienced team with extensive lithium experience which is ideally placed to develop Falcon Lake.”

BM8 was last trading at 38.5 cents.
