Alliance Aviation (ASX:AQZ) extends BHP Iron Ore contract by five years

Alliance Aviation Services (AQZ) has confirmed the extension of its partnership with BHP Iron Ore.

The renewed contract spans five years with an option for an additional two years.

Alliance will continue to provide essential air services, offering 14 flights per week between Perth and BHPIO’s Coondewanna and Barimunya sites.

Alliance Aviation has been serving BHPIO since 2009, and with this new extension, the partnership will extend to 21 years of continuous service.

“We are delighted to be able to continue to supply air services to BHP Iron Ore for the next seven years.” AQZ Managing Director Scott McMillan said.

“This extension is further evidence of Alliance’s history of outstanding customer retention.”

Alliance Aviation shares were up 1.60 per cent, trading at $3.17 at 2:35 pm AEST.
