Strandline completes second shipment of chloride ilmenite from Coburn project, WA


  • Strandline Resources (ASX:STA) completes its second shipment of chloride ilmenite from the MSP at its Coburn minerals sands project in WA
  • The emerging heavy mineral sands producer is also leveraging the world’s major zircon and titanium-producing corridor, with assets in East Africa as well
  • The second shipment contains 5900 metric tonnes of ilmenite and was loaded at the Port of Geraldton and will travel to Strandlines offtake customer in America
  • In the meantime, STA will continue shipping ilmenite and zircon in concentrate (ZIC) throughout the December quarter while commissioning takes place
  • STA shares are up 4.35 per cent, trading at 9.6 cents at 1:26 pm AEDT

Strandline Resources (ASX:STA) has completed its second shipment of chloride ilmenite from the minerals separation plant (MSP) at its Coburn minerals sands project in Western Australia.

The emerging heavy mineral sands producer is producing zircon, titanium and ilmenite for global customers, and is leveraging the world’s major zircon and titanium-producing corridor, with assets in East Africa as well.

The second shipment contained 5900 metric tonnes of ilmenite, which was loaded at the Port of Geraldton before travelling to Strandlines offtake customer in America.

In the meantime, STA will continue shipping Ilmenite and Zircon in concentrate (ZIC) throughout the December quarter while commissioning takes place.

STA shares were up 4.35 per cent, trading at 9.6 cents at 1:26 pm AEDT.
