The good times keep rolling for Warriedar Resources (ASX:WA8) at its Ricciardo gold-antimony deposit, with the last of the assays from a drill run at the project’s Ardmore end confirming wider, high-grade gold intervals.

Warriedar today told shareholders it had landed intercepts including 50.7 metres at 5.12 grams per tonne gold and 0.15% antimony from 137 metres.
These last assays follow the full-hole core results from RDRC069 (and accompanying mineralogy test results) that were released on July 10. Those had included two metres at 116.3 grams per tonne gold from 151 metres and 24 metres at 0.99% antimony and 1.55 grams per tonne gold from 170 metres.
Between the two result returns, there’s a clear demonstrated consistency alongside a down-plunge continuity across the Ardmore chunk at Ricciardo.
These intervals are more than Warriedar had been expecting, too – leaving the company “very pleased,” of course – and suggests the company can now look to upgrade its Mineral Resource Estimate quite a lot higher.
“These results more broadly establish the high-grade opportunity at Ardmore, across both thick gold-rich and antimony-rich zones starting at relatively shallow depths,” the explorer’s managing director, Amanda Buckingham, said.
“We set the bar high for this area, and these results have well exceeded expectations.”

Warriedar is now moving to upgrade its MRE on these windfall assays. At the same time, the WA explorer plans to speed up its multi-rig drilling program.
“Keep fifty-at-five coming, please!” Ms Buckingham wrote to her team.
WA8 had a strong +4.7% bump through Monday and heads towards close at 11cps.
