Let’s check in on what’s trending on the HotCopper forums on Tuesday.
The following companies are catching eyes in the intraday session:
- Vection Technologies (ASX:VR1) – Vection has received a contract extension from an undisclosed EU-based client worth just over A$7M to provide its AI workplace enterprise tech. Shares sold off on the news, perhaps because this ‘defence contract’ does not easily translate into a remilitarisation value prop.
- Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) – Liontown has released its June 2025 quarterly with shares dipping into the red upon release. Some investors were wary of the company’s cash burn and despite positive cashflows, the depressed lithium price looms large overhead the market zeitgeist.
- Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) – Wildcat has issued a PFS for its Tabba Tabba project, but the market hasn’t liked it – shares were down -8.3% at lunchtime. Like Liontown, the stark reality of lithium prices has overcome whatever positives the PFS may have otherwise offered investors. Some were concerned Wildcat has relied on assumed lithium prices well above what other majors like Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) are currently seeing.
