Let’s check in with what HotCopper users are closely watching at lunchtime.
Given that we’re basically on the deadline before companies get a scolding if they don’t report updates, on Wednesday, the ASX announcements list is basically one big wall of quarterlies.
(You may have noticed the news section of the website is a little quieter today – that’s because quarterlies tend to include existing information, and despite being key share price catalysts, they’re quite hard to write about.)
To that end, I’ve already covered four big names with quarterlies out today that are stirring engagement on the forums.
So what else is going on today?
- Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR) – Haranga has finalised its acquisition of the Lincoln gold project as the junior explorer pivots away from its Senegal-based uranium project, which it still holds onto.
- Ionic Rare Earths (ASX:IXR) – Ionic is one of few trending companies with non-quarterly news out today; it has declared it’s ramping up production of dysprosium and terbium at a plant in Belfast in response to “urgent supply requests from US, European and Asian market” [sic]. Despite a promising-sounding update; shares were in the red at midday.
- Micro-X Ltd (ASX:MX1) – This healthcare microcap has soared +34% in midday trades on news of a supply agreement with a US healthcare provider. The company produces the Rover product, which is basically a mobile hospital bedside set-up allowing for the quick establishment of a patient bedsit to monitor vitals.
That’s just scraping the top of the barrel on today’s forums – to get an idea of what’s trending, visit the website to see what’s being most discussed on Wednesday.
