First up: Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS), a long-loved stock on the HotCopper forums, has captured attention today after sharing its FY25 earnings. While profits sank -176%, holders seemed mainly happy with the reports.
To lunchtime, PLS shares have been $2.19 after gaining +3.79%; many investors seem hopeful the “tough” lithium downturn can’t last forever.
Also trending is Nanoveu (ASX:NVU), with excitement there revolving around the chipmaker’s U.S. sales appointments. The company now has reps covering “critical” OEM hubs on the West Coast, Northeast, and Midwest.
NVU has gained as much as +7% to 1pm today to sell at around 9.2cps.
And finally, Locksley Resources (ASX:LKY) has been drawing plenty of forum talk.
This one’s simple to understand: The U.S.-focused critical minerals explorer just formally started its downstream strategy over in the States this week.
Aussie investors particularly liked Locksley’s team-up with world-renowned science, nanotech, and energy innovation-focused Rice University. Through to arvo trade, LKY shares have jumped as much as +44% higher.
As for the ASX 200 at large: It’s still holding green, up around +0.19%.
