Directors legally have five business days to notify the ASX of their trades, so some transactions may be recorded after this article was written and published.

1. Energy One

The biggest transaction recorded through this column’s last seven-day period came from Energy One (ASX:EOL), where founder Ian Ferrier sold two million shares – the on-market deal saw him fetch $28.4M after selling at $14.20/sh.

Mr Ferrier’s move came alongside several other sales; Wilson Asset Management Group and BW South Asia both shipped bundles through recent days, too.

The $44M energy producer’s founder has since said he has no plans to make any further sales. He still carries as many as 5,315,647 shares.

EOL last sold at heading into Friday’s close.

2. EVT Ltd

Jane Hastings made the second biggest directors move this week, collecting 183,437 shares in EVT Ltd (ASX:EVT) through a securities conversion. The issue handed her around $1.5 million in the cinema, hotel, and resort company.

EVT just recently launched EVT Connect Hospitality, a new venture that saw it buy up Pro-Invest Group’s hotel management enterprise at the same time.

It was interesting because “companies moving into the third-party hotel management business in Asia Pacific is still relatively new and newsworthy,” according to Jeffrey Weinstein at Hotel Investments Today.

Shares in EVT cost around $14.18 each today.

3. Servcorp

And finally, Alfred Moufarrige loaded up on Servcorp (ASX:SRV) shares on Friday, August 22, bringing his holdings to 547,436 shares after buying another 200K at $7 each. The off-market trade cost him around $1.4M.

Servcorp just recently landed record profits, and according to its FY25 report, the company’s underlying NPBIT has doubled over the last three years.

Director trades catch-up

From the period before this one, through Week 34, there was another interesting trade that took a few days to be reported: Tony Pitt scooped up a $737K bundle in 360 Capital REIT (ASX:TOT) on Wednesday, Aug. 20. Mr Pitt then bought another 126,000 (around $54K worth) through this week as well.

That’s this week’s Director Trades – we’ll be back with more next Thursday.
