Infini Resources (ASX:I88) has started its maiden field program at the Reynolds Lake Uranium Project, with the work designed to set up high-priority exploration targets and take them to “drill-ready status” for next year.

The multi-week program will see the Infini team run systematic soil and rock chip sampling and build detailed geological maps across priority areas.
As many as 1,600 soil and rock-chip samples will be collected, the Australian explorer predicted; these will then be used to “further refine the company’s exploration model” as it works on that 2026 drilling goal.
One particular target has already emerged: There’s several large-scale electrical conductors at Reynolds Lake that the Infini team wants to take a closer look at.
These conductors, which extend as much as 10 kilometres, coincide with radiometric anomalies and anomalous lake sediments along structural corridors, suggesting there may be shallow, unconformity-style uranium mineralisation.
That top target is “a highly significant development in an underexplored area on the outer edge of the Athabasca basin,” Infini chief Rohan Bone explained.
“This program will generate the detailed geological and geochemical data we need to refine these targets into drill-ready prospects. We see a clear opportunity to make a discovery that could rapidly transform Reynolds Lake’s scale.”
In total, Reynolds Lake hosts 12 claims which stretch over 386 square kilometres. While outside the Athabasca sandstone cover, it still shares key characteristics.
Past studies at the project spotted anomalous uranium values in lake sediments, strong uranium-channel responses from airborne radiometrics, and large-scale conductors from time-domain electromagnetic surveys.
I88 is selling at 28 cents a share heading into Tuesday.
