The explorer’s most recent program at the gold-antimony-silver-tungsten project returned “exceptional” grades of all but the latter, expanding the known footprint.
Resolution pointed out two chip samples as the standouts. The first was Sample 730253, which came in at 49.8% antimony, 1,420 grams per tonne silver, and 3.12g/t gold and now stands as the highest grade at Horse Heaven to date.
The second, Sample 730255, clocked 10.35% antimony, 68.5g/t silver, and 4.43g/t gold. Both were collected from historical mine workings hosting stibnite.
Soil sampling in the same program was also spruiked as a win by Resolution on Monday morning. Through that sampling, the Australian explorer uncovered 0.5% antimony and up to 0.9g/t gold (with 68g/t silver).
The soil program delineated a northeast-southwest-trending zone of mineralisation around 1,000 by 700 metres – a standout because, according to Resolution, this footprint is “materially larger than previously known.”
“We’re very encouraged by the recent sampling program results from Antimony Ridge,” the company’s CEO of U.S. Operations, Craig Lindsay, said.
“As we expand outwards from… the historic workings, we look to expand the target even further. Horse Heaven is now revealing itself to be a much larger opportunity as we conduct modern multi-disciplined exploration.
“Its potential as a very significant antimony, gold, silver, tungsten project is crystallising.”
Senior company senior advisor, Steve Promnitz, added the high grades of antimony the company had hauled in with these latest samplings were “truly rare.”
Resolution is now collecting representative samples from stibnite-silica veins at Antimony Ridge for early metallurgical testwork. The explorer has also recently wrapped up six core drill holes at the Golden Gate target nearby.
RML has been up as much as +15% today; it’s selling at 5.5cps.
