The ASX 200 has made slight gains through Thursday morning, with a rise of 0.57% at 7,966 points in early afternoon trades.

Mining companies were some of the strongest performers and most-watched on HotCopper forums, including Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR), up 2.68% after telling investors its revenues had risen 17% during the March quarter.
LTR has been trading at 57.5 cents.
Resmed Inc (ASX:RMD) – which provides technology to aid sleep – has also been in the news, reporting a strong March quarter including a revenue rise of 8% for $1.3 billion, which was also 9% up on a constant currency basis.
This, in turn, pushed ResMed shares up 7.67%, to $35.80.
And gold explorer Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD) has been down 2.17% despite having no significant news out.
Genesis has been trading at $3.83.
