Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) has topped the HotCopper forums today – and by a wide margin – after stopping into a trading halt before unveiling a fully underwritten $266 million placement aimed at “fortifying” its finances.

The forum’s lithium darling issued the placement at 73cps and has invited existing shareholders to get in too. This morning, LTR paused at 84.5 cents.
Also trending is Trigg Minerals (ASX:TMG), with the explorer acquiring 100% of a “highly prospective” Tennessee Mountain project in Elko County. The tungsten pickup cost Trigg $100K (US) and $125K worth of shares.
And, Marquee Resources (ASX:MQR) expanded what it says is “Australia’s largest undeveloped antimony deposit,” and HotCopper users liked the news.
The ASX 200 has had a down day, losing -0.19% in value.
