Advance Metals (ASX:AVM) chief executive Adam McKinnon joined HotCopper for a Watchlist interview to discuss the big news: The explorer’s hit some very juicy silver grades at its Yoquivo Silver-Gold Project in Mexico.

“These are pretty much the best results we’ve received to date,” Mr McKinnon told HotCopper. “A number of key things have made me pleased, particularly where we’ve hit the high-grade silver and gold mineralisation… and we’ve managed to push the high-grade mineralisation down 60-70 metres.”
“The upside here is obvious for resource expansion,” Advance’s chief said on the results, “and it’s all very exciting for future exploration potential.”
Top results from Yoquivo included the headlining 2,584g/t AgEq, with the highest-grade mineralisation occurring within “discrete silver-bearing sulphide veins.”

Diamond drilling in YQ-25-007 clocked up 7.6 metres at 116 grams per tonne silver equivalent (69g/t silver and 0.6g/t gold from 298.79 metres), including 0.54 metres at 361g/t AgEq, the Oz explorer reported.
Price-wise, AVM shares have been trading +11.7% YTD.
