Hi Asf and Orionwoo - I am also watching this - so that makes a grand total of three of us. Yet to have a flutter though.

It is interesting that none of longer term holders have commented on the latest placement. Might still be nursing headaches from the last one at 23c?

All things JP(snr) are interesting to watch. The current kennel of woofas (PNO - PEL - GLA) have all run out of money and shareholder support at roughly the same time. PNO and PEL are one step ahead down this process. Pno is a whole different kettle of fish - but you might find it interesting to watch Pel movements (or lack of them) for how the game might be played.

GLA is the jewel in the crown (so to speak) and JP is digging deep in his pockets through Dolphin etc and the subunderwriting deal. GLA is what pays the big bucks (compared with pno - pel - cgi). One could speculate about the timing of this in relation to the OBJ recent sp increase - perhaps a little reorganisation of holdings going on.

I think your spot on with the notion it might take a couple of go's - pno and pel both underwent price reductions - and also it might be worth bearing in mind that the cr is nearly certain to be massively undersubsribed (hence I suspect you will be able to pick up as many as you want regardless of the size of your holding at the ex date).

Anyway good luck with it - its certainly not without its risks - happy to put my 2c in from time to time and Ill let you know if I have a punt.

Asf - good find on the article - I think the rot had set in quite a bit before then - but interesting all the same.
